Many people died, over 120, and houses and cars have been swept away by the fast currents of water. Many roads are destroyed, and the railways are also affected.Fortunately, the city of Valencia has been safe because in 1970 a huge riverbed was built, and the fast floodwaters have been channeled through this channel. His Excellency Ambassador Shri Shambhu S. Kumaran welcomed all groups and shared his thoughts on the Festival of Raksha Bhandan.Thereafter Sister Stephi shared a Rakhi message and Sister Rikki applied a Sandalwood tilak and tied Rakhi to His Excellency as well as gifting a framed Shiv Baba Picture to the Ambassador.Rakhi was then tied to the team of the Indian embassy and participants of the event.Please find attached pictures from the event. To celebrate 40 years of meditation and service, the centre held &nbsp;a Summer Event in the Yard. Friends of the centre gathered for talks, virtuescopes, &nbsp;music, meditation around the tree and delicious reception food.&nbsp; The chief guest of honour was the Indian Ambassador to Denmark, Shri Manish &nbsp;Prabhat. He was happy to hear that the Indian Embassy helped Brahma Kumaris &nbsp;establish 40 years ago. He also emphasized the need for peace and spirituality in &nbsp;our communities.&nbsp; BK Golo from Madhuban was our second guest speaker. Chief of the Brahma Kumaris, Sis. Jayanti shared her views in the event. She said, when people start holding values in high esteem and strive to follow those values, then you will have a world where arts can flourish, new discoveries can be made and many advances can happen. Many souls (30+) from Consulate General, Frankfurt and Associations from Frankfurt and NRW region participated with their families.Didi's inspirational meeting with everyone online filled everyone with joy. Sister Rekha and Sister Dipti specially came from GCH, London as they organized some sessions for the basic understanding of self, supreme and connection with reflective exercises. Sudesh Didi also joined online to meet participants. Dear FamilyOn 20th May late evening Atam Prakash and Govindji were met at Otopeni Airport in Bucharest by brother Alex. They were accommodated in the Raja yoga Brahmakumaris Center of Romania. There was a 3 days trip in the Carpathian Mountains where they visited many historical places and villages, castles, churches and cathedrals where our guests were able to listen to stories of past royal families and their kings and queens.
