This Our Yagya website is intended for use by regular students of The Brahma Kumaris.
The Brahma Kumaris movement is comprised of individuals of all ages and backgrounds who regularly attend classes at more than 8,500 centres located in over 120 countries across all continents. These centres are spiritually affiliated to The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University headquartered in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, India. The individuals involved in this global learning community study spiritual knowledge that nurtures respect for all faith traditions, coherently explains the nature of soul, God, time, and karma, and delineates an enlightened lifestyle.
For nearly 90 years, many students of The Brahma Kumaris have been using their bodies, minds and wealth in worthwhile ways to create tools for illuminating, spreading. sustaining and intensifying the Yagya, the sacrificial fire, that our beloved Shiv Baba has established. This has fueled, and continues to fuel, our individual and collective spiritual transformation, which will ultimately bring about the transformation of the world.
Our Yagya, a website for the spiritual sustenance of the global BK family of life-long learners, brings together many of these creative inspirations – both old and new.
The Brahma Kumaris provides the Our Yagya website as a resource to its students. Our Yagya offers these individuals access to the many Brahma Kumaris (BK) websites and other internet resources, official and unofficial, that exist to provide information about the spiritual teachings and reflective practices of Raja Yoga Meditation (as taught by The Brahma Kumaris) so that said individuals may strengthen their ability to live by their own higher nature and improve their beneficial contributions to society.
The Brahma Kumaris practise and teach a form of meditation that relaxes the mind and nurtures a healthy balance between their inner and outer worlds. Through numerous social service activities and partnerships, those who are regular students promote spiritual understanding, leadership with integrity and elevated actions towards a better world.
