Brahma Kumaris was established in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, in the  summer of 1984. To celebrate 40 years of meditation and service, the centre held  a Summer Event in the Yard. Friends of the centre gathered for talks, virtuescopes,  music, meditation around the tree and delicious reception food. 

The chief guest of honour was the Indian Ambassador to Denmark, Shri Manish  Prabhat. He was happy to hear that the Indian Embassy helped Brahma Kumaris  establish 40 years ago. He also emphasized the need for peace and spirituality in  our communities. 

BK Golo from Madhuban was our second guest speaker. He congratulated us on our  years of dedicated service and moreover, on the birth of the Environment Initiative  in Copenhagen. 

The jubilee was dedicated to International Yoga Day, and everybody enjoyed a good  stretch!
