Sister Mohini came to the Brahma
Kumaris while still in college.
Because she was college educated
and spoke English, Brahma Baba
often called on her to give public
talks and meet high level contacts
of the BK’s. She opened many
centers in India and traveled abroad
supporting early service in Europe,
the Caribbean and North America. In 1978 she was asked to
settle in New York, where she served as the regional coordinator
for the Brahma Kumaris’ activities in the Western Hemisphere.
In 2021 she was appointed as Additional Administrative Head of
the Brahma Kumaris. Though she has been a public figure for the
BK’s for much of the past 65 years, by nature she is introverted,
preferring a quieter life. One unique aspect of her spiritual life is
her role as a trance messenger.
