

In his remarks, HE Mr Atul Malhari Gotsurve, Ambassador of India to Mongolia stated that under the leadership of Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India Yoga has gained and is gaining huge popularity in the world. He stated that “Yoga not only makes people Yogya (Capable) but it makes them Suyogya (highly capable). He underscored the various activities undertaken by Mission to promote Yoga throughout the year, like weekly yoga classes for diplomats, Government Officials, Police officials, Yoga studios, and university students; ITEC training programme for yoga etc.
Guest of Honour, Mr Jaap Van Hierden, the UN Resident Coordination in Mongolia, underscored the need for Yoga for peace, health, and development in the current turbulent world.
Ms. B. Tuul, President of the Mongolian Yoga Federation, thanked the Embassy and Government of India for the continuous support in the promotion of yoga in Mongolia.
BK Inna Kim, NC, Brahma Kumaris in Mongolia, guided on the Raja Yoga meditation technique.
Experts from the Mongolian Yoga Federation showcased high-level yoga skills to the audience.
Dr Vivek Kumar Maddheshia, Teacher of Indian Culture (Yoga), conducted the Common Yoga Protocol for the audience.
