IDY Preparation in Ukraine
Since 2014, Brahma Kumaris Centers in Ukraine have actively participated in all programs of the International Day of Yoga, promoting easy Raja Yoga meditation and giving introduction of spiritual knowledge. As usual, representatives of the Brahma Kumaris were especially invited to participate in the preparations for the celebration event.
On June 21, 2024, the celebration of the 10th International Day of Yoga will begin in the Hryshko National Botanical Garden of Kyiv.
According to tradition, the anniversary program will begin with a yoga protocol, in which everyone can take part, regardless of their level of training. The subsequent three-day program will include cultural performances, lectures, meditations, presentations from various yoga schools and much more.
Preparatory meetings for International Day of Yoga were held at the Indian Embassy in Ukraine on May 10 and 24. The meetings were conducted by the Second Secretary of the Embassy, Mr. Shri Satender K. Yadav, and the Assistant Section Officer, Mr. Sandeep Saini. Let Knowledge of the World Drama and Raja Yoga, as taught by the Supreme Teacher, be revealed once again to humanity soon. Brahma Kumaris institution of Raja Yoga was established in the year of 1936 to accomplish this task. For 10 years IDY has been a tool to reach people across the country of Ukraine to taste the new practices for world peace.
