Om Shanti
Dear Divine Godly Family,
This email comes to you with immense joy and happiness as we share the beautiful news of the auspicious inauguration of Baba’s Oklahoma City Center in the USA.
Sister Kala, director of Peace Village Learning and Retreat Center, New York, USA, graciously came to conduct the inauguration. The weekend of June 14th and 15th of June was truly elevated, filled with programs for Brahmins, contacts, and the public. Among other special guests were Sister Laksmi, center coordinator from the Michigan center, and Sister Claudia from Peace Village.
On June 14th, we celebrated the official inauguration of the center.
On the morning of June 15th, we celebrated Father's Day, followed by a beautiful Interfaith Meet that evening at the center. The theme of the event was “Caring,” where representatives of various faiths shared heartfelt reflections on the significance of Father’s Day within their spiritual and cultural beliefs. Kala Behn gave a brief introduction to the Brahma Kumaris, shared the BK perspective on the theme, and then led everyone into a guided meditation. Sister Claudia also shared her thoughts with the group.
Later that evening, we enjoyed a visit to a nearby lake, wrapping up the weekend in nature’s silence and joy.
We also had the honor of hoisting Baba’s flag in front of the building, making it even more sacred.
Those who came mentioned that the center can serve as a retreat space. About 25 souls stayed at the center; each had individual beds. The center currently can accommodate 25–30 individuals if needed. The property has a good amount of space for expansion.
We were truly touched to receive the blessings and good wishes from Mohini Didi and other senior instruments, which were shared during the event through their audio and video messages. A short video capturing our journey of service and growth was also created and shared with everyone present.
Each of Baba’s children received tolis, blessings, and gifts—a bag with the BK logo and more gifts. The joy of being together, the power of collective remembrance, and the beauty of Baba’s vibrations made it an incredibly memorable weekend for all of us.
We are deeply grateful to our dear, respected Mohini Didi and our seniors for trusting us, encouraging us, and giving us the opportunity to have this place and serve. Their love, support, and faith have been the foundation of our progress. Our heartfelt thanks to Baba's Michigan family for helping us out in Baba's kitchen and to all the souls who are supporting the center in one way or another. We constantly feel the canopy of the love and protection from Baba, Mama, and our ancestor souls.
