The Irkutsk Creative Association of Artists "Babr" Celebrates Its Friendship with the Brahma Kumaris

For many years, the Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga Center in Irkutsk has been cooperating with the Irkutsk Creative Association of Artists "Babr". The association was created on February 15, 1985 on the basis of the Palace of Culture of Trade Unions and continues its activities to this day, "Babr" has more than 200 exhibitions to its credit. The Chairperson for many years has been Baba's cooperative soul, Natalia Bychkova, Associate Professor of the design Department of the Irkutsk National Research Technical University.

The successful friendship "Babr" and "Brahma Kumaris" created several joint exhibitions on spiritual topics, including some exhibitions that were traveling and visited Vladivostok, Chita, Irkutsk, Perm, Yekaterinburg covering from Pacific coastal areas to the European Urals where people are more simple and  more spiritual by nature as compared to the cosmopolitans . It has been an opportunity to give Baba's Knowledge and teach Raja Yoga to the participants of the Babr association. And Natalya Bychkova speaks with great love about the books published by the Brahma Kumaris, she says: “I live at the expense of your books”.

We always remember the important lesson of the Raja Yoga course - the eight spiritual powers, among them is the power of cooperation. It is cooperation that leads to development, in cooperation, acceptance of each other, support, gratitude develop and there is the possibility of creativity.

God's Birthday, Irkutsk, 2025

On a beautiful Sunday morning, two celebrations were held under the name "God's Birthday". The program began with meditation under live music, an atmosphere of freshness and peace was felt at that moment, and everyone felt a light touch of the Supreme Father to our hearts. And then everyone participated in a quiz about the biography of God, many did not know the answers to questions about where God lives or what His exact name is, but the students of the Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University explained these points in an accessible and detailed manner.

The program included a lot of music, commentary on meditation. Several famous musicians from Irkutsk gathered at the program, pianists and guitarists decorated the meeting. At the end, there was a conversation about how God's appearance in the physical world is also an appearance, the birthday of His children, that is, all of us. And then we lit candles together, cut the birthday cake and received gifts from God in the form of blessings.

Now is a special time when we can feel the presence of the Supreme Father, just by creating a thought about it and connecting with him, and to learn the methods of how to do this. Hearts of those who were listening to elevated versions of the Father were feeling closeness to Him. Long lost now being found, children of Him developed interest to learn more about Him.
