Dear Brothers & Sisters,
Sureshbhai Singhal, Baba’s child for over 35 years, peacefully left his body on Tuesday, 25 March, 2025. He was born on 14 December, 1933, and was 91 years of age. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Puspaben, son Ajay and his wife Janet, daughters Anju and Ranu, and his three cherished grandchildren.
Sureshbhai and Puspaben came to Gyan in the 1980s. From the moment he completed the Raja Yoga Course, he became a dedicated student, attending morning classes daily. His heart quickly turned to service — teaching Raja Yoga, assisting in preparing Bhog and Brahma Bhojan alongside Puspaben, and supporting the center in every way possible.
He was known for his immense warmth and hospitality. His home was always open to Baba’s family — many visitors stayed under his roof, some for several months, and they were always made to feel welcome and cared for.
When Puspaben suffered a stroke some years ago, Sureshbhai lovingly stepped into the role of her carer and looked after her with a lot of love and care. He would take her each year to Shivmani Home in Madhuban, and while there, he also offered his services at Godlywood Studio, ever ready to support Baba’s Yagya wherever there was a need.
Sureshbhai’s life was a testament to love, service, and faith. His humility, generosity, and deep commitment to Baba’s teachings touched many hearts.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday, 23 April at 1:00 PM at Stockport Crematorium, Buxton Road, Stockport SK2 6LS.
With love,
In Baba’s yaad,
Manchester BK Family
