An unattended funeral took place for Margaret on Sunday, 17 March, and the BK family were invited to sit for meditation from 12.30pm to 1.00pm on that day for 30 minutes, to send their loving sakaash and golden wishes.

Sister Margaret of Paignton.jpgDear Brothers & Sisters,

Brother David, her son, remembers her:

Mom, since coming to Baba in 1983, and before that, never did have a bad thought for anyone. This in itself is remarkable. She made Baba her life quickly in West Bromwich, and even moved in next door to the Centre. She got three flats for others as well and helped many of Baba’s young children to grow.

Mom and I became a good team and a lot of service took place, as Mom had the virtues and qualities of attracting all souls with her love. This is what those who knew her well will tell you.

She was unique amongst the unique, and our family, Dad and I, lost our star player, friend, and so did Baba’s family. She met Baba personally and He told her something so unique and loving that only He could tell such a soul. Baba asked her “what soul are you?” Mom said “I do not know”, and Baba replied "Lovely".

It is an honour to have been so close to such a flower and she will be missed so much. My hope is, in these weeks and months, Baba cares for this innocent soul and takes her often into His heart in the subtle regions and massages her heart as she did for the thousands that she knew and loved.

Never was there such a soul in Baba’s service, so loving and deserving and Baba will recharge the soul in His Ocean of Love and Mom will swim in God’s peace as she would have loved, wanted and deserved. Baba will give back some of the love and care that she gave out to ALL souls without end.

She is at Baba’s side now, under His canopy, and experiencing His love and entertainment, before her new life starts. Dad and I and all that knew her, all know we lost a true angel and another family is to gain an angel!

Brother Brian, her husband remembers her:

Sister Margaret, my wife of 70 years, was a unique wonderful lady full of joy with no hate for anyone. She had a great aura about her such that all loved her dearly. She had the gift of bringing everyone happiness and enabled them to forget their troubles as they got lost in her positive attitude and endless love. I have never known her to be sad.

She was one of eight brothers and sisters, and had a poor start to life. Each job she took on, she became the top sales person. She was the best partner anyone could have. I am thankful she was mine. She was even happier when Baba came along, whom she loved with all her heart. Whatever fruits she is having now are greatly deserved. She loved India and being a Brahma Kumari. She is missed so much!  She moved from West Bromwich in 2002 and settled in Paignton where she carried on serving all with blessings, a BIG HEART and her company.

Denise Gaston, her niece, remembers her:

My aunt Margaret Jones had a great zest for life, she was a one off, unique, there will never be another. She was full of energy, love and positivity which she radiated on to everyone she met. She was more than an aunt; she was a beacon of light, a force of nature, and a reservoir of boundless love.

Margaret’s love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life from her dedication to maintaining family ties despite geographical distances, to her lovely cards she sent, and thoughtful gifts she bestowed to family and friends. Her energy seemed boundless, her love limitless, and her positivity radiated like sunshine, Margaret will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

As we grapple with the profound loss of Margaret's physical presence, let us also find solace in the treasure trove of memories she leaves behind. Let us rejoice in the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, and the love bestowed upon us all. And let us take comfort in the belief that she now rests in the comforting embrace of Baba, at peace and free from pain.

Let us honour Margaret’s memory by cherishing the bonds of family and friendship just as she did throughout her remarkable life. May her legacy of love and kindness inspire us all to live each day with gratitude, positivity and joy.

With love,

In Baba’s yaad,

Brother Brian and Brother David
