Greetings of Peace to All the angels from the city of Los Angeles.

Presently, this impactful and creative city is facing its greatest challenge in dealing with nature in the form of wildfires.

These wildfires began on January 7, 2025. They were caused due to a year of severe dryness, low humidity, and intensified by gusty hot winds that blow at 80 miles per hour. This kind of hurricane-like speed led the wildfires to become uncontrollable and violent.

As of now, there have been 26 wildfires across a number of counties (districts) with three major wildfires doing the most damage.

As of January 14, 2025, the wildfires have destroyed or damaged close to 13,000 structures, including some residences and mostly public places.

At this time of upheaval, firefighters are standing strong and have come from various states of USA as well as Mexico and Canada. Emergency workers are working round the clock along with the duty-bound cooperation from Los Angeles Police (LAPD), National Guards (US military reserve force), rescue workers, pilots, doctors, nurses, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and thousands of ordinary volunteers who are residents of LA and nearby areas. It is an amazing machinery of teamwork. Generous America, with a heart beating with empathy, has turned the attention of its busy mind towards rescuing and rehabilitating Los Angeles.

This wildfire has made the story of the “kittens being protected in the fire” come true as NONE of the BK centers had to evacuate and the fire did not come close to any of Baba’s centers. We all are safe under Baba’s canopy. There were power outages in several areas but Baba’s centers have been standing strong like powerful Lighthouses.

Many of our BK students and contact souls had to evacuate from their homes, but all of them have been in Tapasya mode and staying strong and stable even in this time. This has been a practical application of unshakeable Trust in Baba and Drama and following the part of “Nothing New”.

As our minds and intellects remain absorbed in Mansa Seva (service), we wholeheartedly request all of you to join collectively in responding to this “Call of Time” in sending sakaash to the City of Los Angeles and the Greater Los Angeles Area.
