"Women are benefactors of the world"

Brahma Kumaris, invited to a public creative festival “Silver Scattering of Stars" (aged people in actice life) organised with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, Samara.

BK Tamara, CC, Samara shared: "the role of women in the modern world has greatly increased. Women have mercy, wisdom and spiritual power. They realize their positive qualities, which helped them to maintain balance in life, and they continue to reveal their potential even at the "Silver Age". An exhibition of rich paintings, photos, knitting and handicrafts was organised on the occasion. Exhibition was held at the House of Officers  where various choral groups from the Samara region, with joyful and cheerful faces the talented artists performed in a variety of cultures. It was interesting to listen to the songs of different nations and to look at various national costumes. Artists and guests shared their experience that, by reviving the culture of folk singing, they cultivate love for the traditions of their nationality, respect for world cultures and moral values especially in their children and grandchildren. As a result, relations between generations are improving, which means more understading and happiness will exist as we move into the future.

The atmosphere of the festival was warm and friendly. BKs expressed their pure feelings and good wishes to the artists, the audience and to their multinational native land and also wished everybody for further improvement of the qualities of the soul.
