Khabarovsk, is one of the largest cities in the Far East of Russia, located near to the Russia-China border, on the bank of the Amur River. The city of 600 thousands people is a large industrial and cultural center in the Far East of Russia. The citizens are open, light, and friendly.
The service in the city began with the cooperation of Ms. Svetlana Sokolova, Project Director, Teenaged Girls’ Club. Ms. Svetlana was introduced to a variety of programmes and projects of Brahma Kumaris. The like minded Director of the Project was also interviewed. Sharing her thoughts about kindness to oneself, to the family, to the city and to the world, she also showed keen interest to promote the basic ideas of Brahma Kumaris.
In the classroom of the Club, in the atmosphere of lightness, cleanliness and peace the BK Teachers Alla Sanovnikova and Nadezhda Bispalova conducted a series of programmes with themes: "Gaining inner strength" "How to create one's best destiny?" "How to use the subtle secrets of karma in real life?" "How to use inner powers to succeed and to overcome obstacles?" The lecturers, together with the audience, tried to answer these questions. Spiritual literature was gifted to them.
Among others who benefited from other meetings were Ms. Marina Kuntsevich, Actress and Director of the Khabarovsk Philharmonic, Associate professor of the Khabarovsk Institute of Culture and Mr. Vladimir Glazunov, talented actor, famous TV presenter and producer (who played in the poetic one-man show "Eduard Assadov, a blind poet". This is a story about the dramatic life of a well-known Russian poet who went to war to defend his Motherland at the age of 17 and was blinded by a severe wound. He overcame tragedies and difficulties and could live 80 years of his life with dignity).
Service also took place at an unusual bookstore of the city "Simple Informality", where visitors not only buy books, but also chat, read, and take part in various creative programs. The Administrator was presented with several books of the Center with best wishes and confidence in long-term cooperation.
People of the city need more Knowledge about the Eternal values and Powers of the soul in this unique time of global change. Let more and more souls receive the Love of the Supreme Father.
