The Tampa center had a long Rakhi celebration as we had Tropical Storm Debbie join us for our originally planned event. Nevertheless many courageous and determined souls joins both the BK session and the one for the public. The next Sunday, an additional ceremony was held for those who could not brave the storm.

Aug 8 - Sr. Waddy kicked off the Florida Engineering Society (FES) installation event with meditation where the gathering of 160 engineers had an opportunity to connect with their true self. Brad participated in the gathering and Tej was the elected incoming president of the engineering group who were installed that evening.
August 10 : Media Producer - host Meredith Porte was in conversation with Luz Pellegrino - Founder of a Wellbeing Center. Born and raised in Mexico city, Luz was influenced by her mother who introduced her to spiritual philosophy from India in her teen years. August 24 : Media Producer - host Meredith Porte was in conversation with Yadira Capaz who is a research based teaching artist who's on a mission of engaging communities in climate justice, wellness, arts and culture. With a lifelong passion for creativity, Yadira facilitates, coordinates and produces workshops, retreats and conferences on leadership, creativity and human connections and shares her gift of experiential learning.
The center has been buzzing with several promotional activities for the upcoming session with Sr. Shivani on Sept 21st.

July finished with Rakkhi in Miami and August Started with Rakkhi in Delray with Waddybhen when she came for a Saturday morning Murli Class.
Rozbhen came just after Waddybhen left and gave Shivanibhen cards fresh off the press to spread far and wide.

Promotion, Promotion Promotion —Baba’s beads coming closer. Zeal and enthusiasm is growing for Sr. Shivani’s program.
We are thrilled to announce that Sister Jana from our center has won the prestigious title of Mrs. Florida. Winning this title is an outstanding achievement. Congratulations to her for this remarkable accomplishment.
On Sunday, 18th August we had an exceptional Raksha Bandan celebration with Sister Waddy. The experience was incredibly powerful and truly powerful.
On Saturday, 24th August we had a very powerful and a successful yoga Bhatti. It was a truly profound experience.
We have online daily Murli, 7 days course via in person classes and zoom.
Several Raksha Bandhan programs were scheduled during this special month of August 2024, as follows:
1. At the Center: Special gathering or Baba’s special angels spent in renewing an strengthening our personal promises to Baba.
2. Special Rakhi program for group who just completed the Raja Yoga course at the Coral Springs library. 20-25 souls tied their first rakhi with Baba. They expressed their happiness and were eager to sacrifice their weaknesses in the flame.
3. A special program was held at Sister Ganga’s place. A unique gathering of Baba’s BK angels and contacts celebrated this special occasion with Baba.
The Foundation Course continued regularly at the Coral Springs Library. The advance sessions were completed with this group around the middle of August.
The Introductory course was started at the Coconut Creek Library and is scheduled for Wednesdays, at this branch. There will be a break of 2 weeks before starting the advanced classes.
As the date approaches, attempts continue to contact various organizations such as temples, groups, Indian stores etc. to publicize and promote the event. The response is very positive.
