BK Sister Janaki seen with the Consul General of India, H.E  Dr. Shashank Vikram

 The Indian  consulate of India in Denpasar, Bali, celebrated World Hindi Day. Brahma Kumaris of Denpasar- Bali,  also took part in the celebrations. There were speeches about the importance of learning the Hindi language, songs and dances.

H.E   Dr. Shashank Vikram, Consul General of India, also spoke on the growing importance of the Hindi language.  H.E Mr. Naveen the Director of Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre also gave his views on this topic. Partisipants present were 100 souls. Indian sweets and drinks were also  distributed to all present.

On this occasion BK Sister Janaki also received an award from the Indian Consulate. BK Sister  Janaki won second prize in the 2022 film making competition conducted by Routes 2 Roots.

On 15th September, BK Sister Janaki also participated in the international conference  Echoes across the Waves: Revisiting the Intersections of India and Indonesia’s Shared Cultural Heritage at Hotel Hyatt Regency Bali.
