BK Irina Lemberg, Moscow, shares her feelings about the bondage of purity with the Ambassador:
I really appreciate your way of introducing Indian Culture and traditions to the Russian Society. Indian festivals, yoga practices, dances etc. are becoming more and more popular day by day.
While learning Raja Yoga in Brahma Kumaris, I've started to understand the deep and universal meaning of many traditions. This sacred festival of Raksha Bandhan symbolizes not only brothers and sisters loving connection for me. But it has a deeper meaning of brother-souls who are connected to God the Supreme. I experience how all of us stay under His canopy of love and protection. As Purifier He guarantees me to be protected if I tie myself with the vow of pure relationships with my brothers-souls. It gives me a feeling of real freedom in life, and I want to believe that the Rakhi festival is being celebrated in the month of August not by chance, the same month when Independence Day of India is celebrated.
2. Raksha Bandhan as a part of ICCR Bharat Week Celebrations
The Embassy of India organised Bharat Week Celebrations in Moscow under the auspices of The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
It included an Indian Culture Showcase of Language, literature, performing Arts, Ayurveda in Childcare, Cultural Workshops and a Gala Concert. As a part of the 5-Day programme, Brahma Kumaris were invited to the Embassy of India to mark Raksha Bandhan. The Rakhi programme was also organised at the closing ceremony of the Gala Concert dedicated to Bharat Week.

Small note:
On this sacred occasion we missed Chakradhari Didi who was supposed to be present with us. She was suggested not to travel for some time as she was undergoing treatment after a hairline fracture noticed in a rib when she slipped from the last step of a staircase in Gyan Sarovar complex. Our best wishes to Didi for her quick recovery. However, We had the opportunity to listen to her online- Rakhi greetings and her BK childhood experiences with the Alokik Father Brahma.
With best wishes and divine love
In Baba's yad
