Description
Dear Healthcare Professional,
We warmly invite you to join us for a special retreat designed to support your wellbeing and strengthen the inner resources that sustain your caregiving practice…
‘When Silence Meets Self‑Compassion’
Essential Tools for Healthcare Professionals to Sustain Your Caregiving Journey
May 15–17, 2026
Peace Village Learning & Retreat Center,
54 O Hara Rd, Haines Falls, NY 12436
Healthcare professionals carry extraordinary responsibilities, often under conditions that can lead to chronic stress, emotional and compassion fatigue, and burnout. This retreat offers a purposeful pause, a supportive environment in which to step back from daily pressures and engage in practices that restore clarity, resilience, inner balance, and personal well-being. Participants will experience a blend of guided and silent meditation, mindful self‑compassion, and other spiritual and restorative practices. These sessions are designed to provide practical tools that strengthen emotional well-being and enhance one’s capacity to sustain compassionate, high‑quality care.
We are honored to welcome Dr. Sarah Eagger, retired consultant psychiatrist from Imperial College London and Chair of the Janki Foundation (UK), as our special guest facilitator. Her extensive experience in mental health, spirituality, and compassionate care will bring depth and insight to this retreat.
Peace Village Learning & Retreat Center, which will be hosting our gathering, is nestled on 300 acres in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, NY, and offers a tranquil and supportive atmosphere ideal for introspection and renewal. It provides comfortable accommodation with Wi-Fi throughout the buildings, a welcoming dining area, nurturing vegetarian meals, and attentive staff who will support your
stay, ensuring a pleasant and enriching experience.
