Description
As conflict and chaos are increasing in the world, the values touchstones of peace and respect serve to protect our happiness and allow us to make a positive impact. Join us for a workshop to reflect on the values that are important to you, and explore skills of active listening, respectful boundary setting, and benevolent assertion. These skills are amazing in that they allow us to build relationships and yet be able to easily deal with people who bait others or are contrary … while staying in self-respect, kindness and our power.
Presenters: Diane Tillman and Deborah Burnham are Living Values Education facilitators and long-time meditators. A retired educational psychologist, Diane is the co-creator of the LVE global approach and has authored the LVE series of books. Deborah is professionally a physical therapist and currently provides body and soul health coaching.
Please inquire if you are interested in a Living Values Education weekend option for educators, community leaders and parents who wish to explore the LVE Approach more fully, including skills to create a values-atmosphere in any setting and facilitate values activities in your home, school or business. This will begin at 7:00pm on Friday, August 15, and end at 1:00 on Sunday.
Retreat includes delicious and wholesome vegetarian lunch and snacks with tea/coffee break.
