About our speakers.

Debbie Haski-Leventhal, PhD, is a Professor of Management and the MBA Director at Macquarie Business School. She is an expert on corporate social responsibility (CSR), volunteering, and social impact. She has published over 60 academic papers in Human Relations, Journal of Business Ethics, MIT Sloan Management Review, NVSQ and other journals. Her work was covered many times by the media, including the New York Times and Forbes. She is the author of five books, including the best-selling Make it Meaningful; CSR: A holistic approach to responsible and sustainable management; and The Purpose-Driven University. and She is a TED speaker and a public speaker on purpose, impact, meaning and social responsibility.

Sister Jayanti is a senior teacher of The Brahma Kumaris, the world’s largest spiritual organisation for both men and women to be led by women. She is the Additional Administrative Head of the organisation, which operates 4,500 teaching centres in over 110 countries around the world. She is a much sought after international public speaker, author of more than a dozen books and a visionary leader guided by spiritual values and principles.

She shares a vision of a future world where living is anchored in universal spiritual principles and a shared sense of humanity.

Known for her deep compassion and tireless commitment to the spiritual dimension of life, her clarity, simplicity and warmth have inspired millions across the globe to empower themselves to make positive changes in their own lives.

Born in India and raised in London, Sister Jayanti divides her time between the Brahma Kumaris headquarters at Mt. Abu, Rajasthan, the International Co-ordinating Office, Global Co-operation House in London and a schedule of speaking engagements and spiritual mentoring around the world. She is the United Nations representative in Geneva for The Brahma Kumaris which is accredited with General Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council.

Sister Jayanti is a spiritual teacher and leader, a pioneer and an emissary for peace. At the age of nineteen she began her life's path of spiritual study and service with the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University. At the age of twenty-one she dedicated her life to making a difference in the world.
