Ignite the Light of Others by Staying Light in Spirit
The day I experience peace is when I stop finding fault in myself and others.
Our thoughts and feelings create our energy field. When thoughts are pure and powerful, others are influenced by our pure vibrations. However, most human minds and situations today have some darkness, causing unhappiness and sorrow in the world. In the past, before one switch could illuminate a whole city, one candle had to be lit by another. So how much value can be given to someone who brings light and lightness to a place or a moment, where others have brought their dark? The lightness of their presence shines through. It is incognito and invaluable, a gentle smile of comfort, an attitude of genuine interest and respect, some words which diffuse an awkward moment.
“Know the world in yourself. Never look for yourself in the world, — Ancient Egyptian Proverb.
Making a positive spiritual impact is about radiating a calm and gentle nature by being strong and understanding on the inside. Our thoughts become the energy field we carry around, like the perfume we use. People receive our vibrations even before they receive our words and behavior.
The day I stop finding fault in others is the day I begin to experience peace. Do I still look at the weaknesses of others? When we look at the defects of others, those defects enter us.
When people are rude to you, they reveal who they are, NOT who you are! So don’t take it personally. Do I have any dislike of anyone? Practice looking at positive qualities. The quality of our thoughts and feelings develops our attitude, and attitude determines our behavior, how we respond to people and situations.
“Who will work in my absence?” asked the Sun during sunset. Everyone remained silent… But Candle whispered, “I will try my very best to give light.” The Sun replied, “Yes! It is not the matter of size or status, but what shines is the attitude”.
The power of pure love and peace received from staying connected with the company of God, brings automatic transformation within the self. Seeing this, others will love to make their own efforts to change. Serve as a candle to others as the flame of our minds, our inner light, has been lit and can ignite the light of others. Emanate a strong vibration of soul consciousness through your feelings, personality and physical features, and bring everyone closer to the strong spiritual vibration of God.
Let the thought of peace sit in your mind. Whilst others may weave their darkness, those who stay light in spirit know their positive Godly thoughts radiate out and touch any person, any place in a second and create change. Om Shanti.
