Developing our patience and tolerance
makes us generous and accepting of others.

Seeing the millions of our vast world family before us, it is incredible to think that each one is an entirely different being from the next. Each has a unique personality, attitude, and take on life. Into this huge arena of life, more and more people are joining, continuously, adding to and voicing their needs, wants, and opinions. At the same time, being so absorbed with themselves, most are oblivious to hearing and considering the needs and situations of others.

Each one thinks they are right, that things should be changed, and changed now, immediately. Even though things do slowly get done, they never seem to be accomplished quickly enough, or in the manner or with the result that pleases everyone. With many wanting resolution and satisfaction, desires will inevitably be delayed or subverted, placing incredible strains on our patience and tolerance levels.

What is needed is an immense capacity for patience and understanding.  Spiritual tolerance and patience create in us, an atmosphere of protective vibration. This helps us to pull us back from the precipice of the surrounding turmoil, enabling the emergence of feelings of friendship and empathy, and the awareness that others, though under so many influences, are also trying to connect to their own particular truth.

The remedy to can be found in the inner power of soul-centred awareness. Soul-centred awareness is the realisation of the eternal nature of the self a being of consciousness and yet dealing with a human experience, in the physical world. With this awareness and self-empowerment, the self’s natural nature of tolerance emerges. This enables the individual to remain in any high-demand situation or crisis and yet be unaffected and have the ability to respond with understanding, care, and compassion.

The mind, becomes free of the surrounding turmoil, and is centred in the soul’s energy field of calmness and patience. This spiritual position creates the opportunity to link the awareness to the tremendous spiritual sun of God’s incredible light and absorb, on this field, the purity, peace and light that immediately floods in. It brings empowerment and healing, not only for the self, but spreading out and reaching others in the sphere of chaos, and bring the calm needed for resolution.
