The special event of Diwali Mela 2024 was organised by the Consulate General of India in Shanghai . The program included various colours of Indian culture , Indian food , Indian dances and songs performances , also elements of yoga and meditation. There were various stalls presenting different aspects of Indian culture.Brahma Kumaris were also provided a space to showcase the ancient spiritual wisdom and ancient Rajyoga Meditation of Bharat, where Bk brothers and sisters served in a creative way to introduce the visitors about spirituality and values. Thousands of visitors visited the stall including the consul generals and officers of some countries like Nepal and Indonesia, and officers of Foreign affairs department of Shanghai and many local Chinese.Bk Sister Sapna also conducted sessions on “Be the Light and Be light” including some activities and guided meditation experience, which received a very good response from the audience. Followed by a session by BK Sister Sapna on mindfulness and Rajyoga meditation with a powerful guided meditation conducted by her, which created a very positive atmosphere. She also shared her thoughts about Mental health awareness.There were various booths about creating awareness of Ayurveda , yoga and meditation , with a special space given to Brahma Kumaris where we had put up our exhibition and a corner for one-on-one counselling. There was an overwhelming response by the attendees. The visitors and participants included government officials , local Chinese nationals and foreigners. Many souls registered for the rajyoga class and also joined the Diwali group meditation on the following day at Baba’s home in Guangzhou.Consul General of India Mr. Shambhu L. Bk Sister Sapna tied the Sacred thread of Rakhi to Mr. Shambhu L. Hakki, the Consul General of India in Guangzhou, China.&nbsp; Rakhi also tied to all &nbsp;officers of the Indian consulate along with spiritual significance of festival.
