A world-famous acoustician and devoted Rajyogi for over four decades, Jal Bhai was the visionary architect of the Gyan Sarovar Complex at Mount Abu, Universal Peace Hall - Pandav Bhawan , Diamond Hall &amp; the Shantivan Campus at Talheti , and Godlywood Studio.The benefit of his invaluable services has reached service centers and other retreat centers in India and abroad.His architectural genius, humility, and deep love for Baba’s Yagya have left an everlasting legacy. Due to Respected Ramesh Bhaiji’s association with him, I was closely connected to him for the past 30 years. In fact, he served as the chief consultant and planner for Godlywood Studio. With his guidance, I was able to form a planning committee which brought stalwarts from different fields related to Audio and Video into Godlywood Studio during its inception. Today, a big part of the influence and achievements of Godlywood Studio in Digital Media service that you see could only be attributed to him.This close bond meant that even in his advanced age, he remained connected to Godlywood Studio as a guide, mentor, and well-wisher. You had a deep and respectful bond with the revered Dadis, Didis, and senior brothers, and your meeting with Avyakt BapDada was truly unforgettable. In addition to the services of the Brahma Kumaris, Jal Bhai’s professional achievements were also remarkable. He designed many renowned theatres, opera houses, royal palaces for kings, and world-famous hotels and was deeply involved in the Film Industry. His work and reputation connected him with people of all faiths, taking him to many places and expanding his influence and goodwill worldwide. His life was a shining example of creativity in the Father’s service, humility in greatness, and steadfastness in spirituality. Intelligent and always a free spirit, she participated in many adventures in her life, and I will miss her.Born in Bedford, PA, she got her first degree in education from Penn State, which is where she met my father. After marrying, they lived in Pittsburgh, New Orleans, Ohio and Lynchburg before settling in Greensboro, NC. There she taught at GTI, later GTCC. She got a masters degree from UNC-G and a second masters from University of Tasmania, as a Rotarian scholar.She always wanted to travel the world, and she seized that opportunity to do so. After retiring, she lived in Tampa, then Australia, New Zealand, London, Germany, Hawaii, Oregon and finally Richmond. I always knew she planned to stay in a place for a while if she bought a car there.While in Tasmania, she joined the Brahma Kumaris spiritual movement and traveled to India frequently for enlightenment.At 80, she moved to Richmond so David and I could help her as she aged gracefully. I love that she called me one day and asked if she should give up driving, and if she did, could I teach her how to Uber.A few years ago, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, then suffered a stroke that left her unable to speak clearly. We still enjoyed each other’s company playing cards, jigsaw puzzles and general silliness.I’ll miss her, but I know she’s in a better place now, where she can talk clearly, and laugh as the squirrels annoy the birds by stealing their food.Note: Please click on the images to view in full size.

Baba's Global Citizen, Nancy Hammer Flew to Baba on 4th April, 2025

She married in 1971 then moved to England. A mother of three, Premila found great joy in spending time with her family and loved to cook. Premila had time for everyone and was always ready to help others without expecting anything in return. She was a selfless, caring soul who wished only the best for everyone.Premila embarked on her spiritual journey when she took the Raja Yoga Meditation course 13 years ago in Loughborough. &nbsp;She became a regular visitor to the Centre during the day, attending spiritual classes and meditations with unwavering dedication. She never missed World Meditation Hour and the monthly Global Bhattis.Whenever there was a local public or BK event, Premila never missed it. A special memory we cherish is celebrating her 70th birthday at the Centre with her close relatives. She regularly attended events at Harmony House, Leicester, and was present on 19th January 2025 when Sr Jayanti visited. On that day, Premila quietly helped with the washing up when there were over 400 people for dinner.Premila loved to help in service and would always volunteer herself, especially for cleaning and kitchen work. Even at 76 years of age, her enthusiasm was unshakable. Whenever we called her to come for service at the Loughborough Centre, she would happily respond "HaJi" and arrive well before time, ready to serve with a smile.Premila was a simple, polite, and deeply humble soul. She loved silence and was happiest when quietly serving or meditating at the Centre. Her gentle smile, kind and loving presence, and quiet strength will always be remembered and deeply missed by the BK Loughborough spiritual family.Her funeral took place on Friday, 7th February 2025.
