Brahma Kumaris participate in Transitarte: a festival of the arts organized by the San José Municipality

In the 4th Quarter of 2024 Costa Rica Focused on Peace in programs with Nuns, College Students & the Media; Sr Shireen's Visit in January Empowered VIP Women, Strengthened Remembrance in the BK Family & Promoted Mental Mastery to an Appreciative Public.

The panel included Margarita Penón (former first lady and former congresswoman), Lorna Chacón (journalist and professor at the University of Costa Rica) and brother Yogesh.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:22px;">Mrs. Margarita shared different moments in which in Costa Rica, from the political leadership, spaces for dialogue have been opened thanks to humility and openness to listening and empathy. On the other hand, Brother Yogesh shared how it is necessary to learn to “connect” in order to be able to “find solutions”. Both referred to their meditation practices to cultivate a state of peace even in challenging moments.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:22px;">Afterwards, the Brahmin family enjoyed a weekend retreat full of silence, love for Baba, spiritual empowerment, and interesting and deep churnings on the occasion of rakhi. We were in the minifundo created by Mrs. Elenor Detiger, who has been a long-time friend of Brahma Kumaris, and who has helped many peace causes.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:22px;">We deepened the different levels of study, to move from “entertainment” to the real experience of “power”. This was particularly empowering to some souls that are not coming that much to the center since COVID lockdown. Having all of them experiencing deep yoga drills rekindles their promise to Baba, so this Raksha Bandan celebration was very significant for the brahmins in the Costa Rican family.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:22px;">Then Marcela and Nela went to Nicaragua, where there was an in-person rakhi after 6 years of not being able to travel to that country due to their political turmoil. Furthermore, brother Yogesh was able to share a virtual talk with them about “Remaining stable in the midst of the storms of life”. All the souls that were served in this visit were so grateful and happy; asking when we would return to do more meditations with them. For Marcela and Marianella was a big step or courage by saying Ha ji! to the service when the unexpected situation came.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:22px;">That same day in the evening, at Baba's house in Costa Rica, brother Yogesh shared a talk on “How to change the ordinary into unique”, which was also broadcasted live on Facebook live with more than 1500 views.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:22px;">The shower of blessings also traveled to nature, where at the Irazu Volcano, we were able to go and enjoy a subtle and loving connection in an environment of total silence and lots of light.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:22px;">The family benefited from meaningful chit chats, as brother Yogesh created a very trusting and caring environment where we could deepen in different aspects of gyan and yoga experiences. Bringing all brahmins souls closer to their connection with Baba and with each other. Brother Enrique Simó's Visit to Mexico

<p>Dear Divine Family,<br><br>Mexico welcomed BK Dr Hansa Raval (Texas, USA) for several programs.<br><br><strong>Mexico City: </strong>Dr. Hansadidi tied Rakhi to the Brahmin family and all teachers.<br><br><strong>Retreat near Cuernavaca: </strong>New students and BKs (50) experienced three days of spiritual retreat, including Garba dance and Rakhi.<br><br><strong>AMANC (Mexican Association for Aid to Children with Cancer): </strong>Dr. Hansadidi gave children with cancer, and their families, a talk on “Complimentary approach to healing cancer”. &nbsp;Initially, the children and families were detached.
